Today's showdown race at Interlagos, Brazil has been the best that I have witnessed in my life. I would dare to say that this race has been one of the best for the past two decades. After all, today just a theoretic possibility became reality for Kimi. Ironically, even after he had crossed the finish line, the champion could have changed. But this has not happened.

I've been a fan of Ferrari for many years for now and I'm very happy for the team, for Kimi. It was a pleasure to see all of the members of the team doing their best to achieve the goal. Ferrari overdid it.

Alonso was extremely disappointed and this was more than visible at the post race conference. In my opinion, the very unhealthy atmosphere that is in the McLaren-Mercedes team, was the main reason why neither of the McLaren drivers won the title.

Let's hope that the next season will be more fair, without scandals and the only battles that we'll see will happen on the grid and the competition will be healthy and fair too.

Finally, I would like congratulate every Ferrari and Kimi fan with this fantastic event. Kimi and Ferrari, you've really deserved this miracle!

I hate to go around defending Alonso, but i dont understand why Alonso has to be the most sympathetic and empathetic guy on the world.

Even more, theres a lot of reasons that if you werent searching for hero, you would like this guy as your friend.

- He is sincere, and speaks what he thinks.
- He criticizes what he thinks needs to be critized, as he is entitled to.
- He is not disrespectful.
- He does his job, and does it well.
- He has his share of bad things, but nobody is perfect. in any case, its impossible to get to know this bad things without knowing him personally.

With this, i can clasify 90% of comments about Alonso as bullshit. You dont like Alonso? Fine, but keep the bullshit to yourself. And dont make me laugh by quoting the press.

Before anything else, let me say this applies the same to Hamilton. Two champions at their best and we should be grateful because them and kimi gave us a wonderful racing year.

Negative conclusions of the year? Mclaren & FIA

Thank you for your comment. However, allow me to remark that this comment is totally off-topic. I have a couple of posts where your comment would fit perfectly.

Anyway, I have mentioned a couple of times that I'm not a fan of Alonso and a careful reader would notice that the Scuderia is my fav team.

However, in most of the posts I try to be neutral and objective. Moreover, I do have posts where I defended Alonso. One thing is whom or what you are a fan of and a totally different thing is a fair play. Sport, especially such an extreme sport as Formula One must be fair. I firmly believe that the unhealthy atmosphere in McLaren cost both drivers (Alonso and Hamilton) their titles.
