Italian Grand Prix has always been one of the most interesting and exciting. But this time, it was a real thriller. Well, right from the qualification yesterday it was clear that the race would be exciting but not to this extent.
Who could have imagined that Sebastian Vettel at the age of 21 would storm his Toro Rosso to the winning position? Vettel is the youngest driver ever to win a Formula One Grand Prix. But this is not the only surprise. Let's not forget that the car that vettel was driving does not belong to the top runners.
I would like to congratulate Sebastian Vettel with this marvelous victory and the whole Toro Rosso team. Great job done.
Unfortunately, Giancarlo Fisichella was the only driver to retire from this race.
Things were not that well for the reds but still Massa managed to achieve his main task (finished 6th) a bit - win one more point from his main rival Luis Hamilton (finished 7th).
The bad luck still follows Kimi Raikkonen who was not able to score at all.
BWM was quite strong with Robert Kubica finishing on the podium (3rd) and Nick Heidfeld finishing the 5th.
Fernando Alonso's result is quite far from the one that a two times world champion would have expected, however taking into consideration the bad performance of the season's leader, Fernando looked quite strong and managed to get the 4th place.
